Today a new software update has finally become available for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ in the US, namely the unlocked units. "Finally" because these models have been ignored by the company in this respect up until now. This is the first update they've ever received, and they were launched three months ago. So despite no official acknowledgement of the matter, it definitely seems like the unlocked units in the US are on a trimestrial security patch frequency.
